Iqbal Demystified: An App for Allama Iqbal's Poetry
Iqbal Demystified is a free poetry app developed by Vanity Studios for Android devices, designed to help young people fully understand the work of Allama Iqbal. The app aims to facilitate students who are unable to benefit from Iqbal's work because of the difficult terms used or the lack of knowledge about the context of the poems. The app is brought to you by the International Iqbal Society and Online Resource Development Team.
The app contains a range of features, including a verse-by-verse English translation, word-by-word translation, and a social platform where users can discuss verses, share ideas, and talk to the community. Users can download audio of poems, get an introduction to the main theme of poems, and find explanations of difficult terms. The app also includes a search capability, Roman English (Transliteration), and a choice of six artistic fonts. Users can bookmark their favourite poems, use the zoom in/out feature, and share poems using Viber, WhatsApp, Email, Facebook Messenger, and Skype. There are audio players for all downloaded recitations, and many other features to come in later updates.
